4-Day South Wales Itinerary

£575 per person based on two people sharing accommodation includes:

3 nights' bed and breakfast accommodation in a 4* guesthouse/country house hotel, en suite

4 days escorted tour with all admission fees as follows:

Tour the City of Cardiff, including Cardiff Castle, Millennium Centre, Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Bay Waterfront, the Clocktower, the new Senedd.

Wye Valley:  Chepstow Castle built in 1067 by one of William the Conquerer's Lords:  Tintern Abbey - the famous Cistercian Abbey which was an inspiration to English Artist Turner and poet Wordworth. Caerleon; probably the best Roman remains of amphitheatre and baths in Britain.

Brecon Beacons National Park.

Swansea, birthplace of Welsh Legend, Dylan Thomas and the coastal town of Laugharne where Thomas and his family lived in The Boathouse on the haunting and evocative estuary. The beautiful Gower Peninsula.

Finally, the most westerly City in Wales:  St David's; in the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coastal Park.  Visit the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace.  Take St David's Holy Water at the well where his mother Non gave birth on the craggy coastline.  Say a prayer in St Non's Chapel.

The Tour starts and finishes in Cardiff. However, we can arrange transfer to and from an alternative convenient location.  Dates throughout the year.
